Marilyn and Ren Harris founded Paradigm Vineyards in 1976. Since that time they have grown fruit for many of Napa Valley's most outstanding wineries. They began bottling small quantities of estate wine in 1991. Throughout their ownership of Paradigm, Ren and Marilyn have been tireless advocates for the Oakville appellation, eco-friendly farming, and environmental stewardship.
Heidi Peterson Barrett has been winemaker at Paradigm since its first vintage in 1991. A Napa Valley native and a graduate of U. C. Davis, Heidi is the winemaker for some of Napa Valley's most highly-regarded wineries. Heidi's philosophy in making wines for Paradigm is simple: she feels that she is working with an extraordinary vineyard site that has been farmed impeccably for years. She lets the fruit from this vineyard express its quality and unique terroir with minimal intervention. Heidi and her husband, Bo, have two daughters.
	Molly Lippitt first joined Paradigm in April 2007 to watch over the wines while the then-current assistant winemaker was taking a break from winemaking to be home with her newborn daughter. Molly's interest in wine should probably have come from growing up in the Sonoma Valley, playing in pomace piles behind the winery down the street, and having a father and grandfather in the wine industry. Despite her early exposure to the enticing aromas of fermenting tanks (and the delightful beverage they produce), Molly hadn't thought of a career in wine until, in her third year in college, she attended a winemaking seminar with her father. A year later Molly graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a degree in Biology, and began her career working in the lab at Sebastiani Winery. Molly's favorite aspects of winemaking are that she gets to play in the dirt and monkey around on barrels, and she comes to Paradigm with experience from wineries in the Sonoma Valley, Carneros, New Zealand, and Yountville. Outside of the winery she is an avid snowboarder, hiker, gardener, backpacker, angler, and world traveler.
Fernando Diaz Rodriguez was born in Morelia Michoacan Mexico in 1976.  He first came to the United States in 1992,  He began working for Ren Harris in the spring of 1994, helping to plant many of the vines that are still producing Paradigm today.  He has been an attentive and dedicated student under our previous Vineyard Manager, John Silva, for the last twelve years.  This spring, John Silva retired after 35 years in Ren’s employment.  Ren gave Fernando the opportunity to take his place, and Fernando, after graciously accepting, is now working hard to keep the vineyards here at Paradigm producing the highest quality fruit as possible.  Fernando lives on the ranch with his wife, Hilda, and son, “Fernandito”. .
	Robin Gerber came on board as sales manager in July 2004. Robin moved to Napa Valley in 1997 on a mission to learn more about wine. After working production at a couple of small wineries and giving tours at a famed, larger Oakville winery, she decided to take the sales route. She had been selling fine wine in the Napa Valley for a distributor for several years before joining us. When we decided we were ready to hire a sales and marketing manager we only made one call. Robin is now National Sales Manager and also handles all restaurant and retail wholesale sales in California.
Annie Trimpe joined Paradigm as Office Manager in December, 2005 and has many years of winery experience in an administrative role.  Most recently, she was office manager for two St. Helena companies and prior to that worked for 12 years for a well known Napa winery.  Annie lives in Napa and her special interests include gardening, camping and animals, specifically dogs.  Dundee, Annie’s Australian shepherd, also acts as Paradigm’s Winery Dog.
	Pedro Martinez was born in Oaxaca Mexico. He came to the United States in 1991 and shortly after started working for Ren Harris. He was married to Kelly in 1997 and they welcomed their first daughter, Mia, in 1998 and second daughter, Laura, in 2002. Pedro and Kelly will celebrate 9 years of a strong and beautiful marriage this year.
